The Divorce Clarity Studio
A podcast feed of thoughtful conversations with your divorce guide on the side
A Different Way to Navigate Divorce
I launched The Divorce Clarity Studio because I believe divorce is about so much more than the legal process. It's about identity, relationships, parenting, finances, healing, and discovering who you are underneath all the noise. It’s also about strategy, financial clarity, and building the foundation to launch your next chapter.
Every divorce coaching episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and approach divorce with greater clarity and compassion. Together with attorneys, mediators, therapists, financial professionals, and other trusted voices, we'll explore the practical, emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of divorce—so you can make decisions that feel grounded, intentional, and true to who you are.
Whether you're considering divorce, in the middle of the process, learning to co-parent, or rebuilding your life afterward, my hope is that you’ll leave these conversations with more clarity.
Because clarity isn't about having all the answers. It's about asking the questions that lead you toward your own.

I’m Lisa Lisser
We all imagine our lives unfolding in a certain way.
And then life asks us to write a new chapter.
I didn't plan to get divorced. When my marriage ended after 21 years, I found myself standing in the same place many of my clients find themselves today—overwhelmed, grieving, and trying to make life-changing decisions while living with uncertainty.
Looking back, I realize that every chapter of my life had been quietly preparing me for that moment.
And for the work I do today through divorce coaching.
I don't see those chapters as a carefully planned path. I see them as experiences that quietly shaped the way I understand people, relationships, and change—and the way I show up in the world.
My years as an attorney taught me to ask thoughtful questions and navigate complexity.
Motherhood transformed my understanding of identity, connection, and purpose.
Nonprofit leadership showed me the power of community, strengthened my voice as a speaker, and advocate and deepened my appreciation for conflict transformation.
Through that work, I was inspired to go back to school to become a Jewish educator and spiritual counselor. Wrestling with a living tradition gave me the grounding to address my own questions of identity, resilience, compassion, and meaning. Questions that have been universal for generations.
Today, I bring those perspectives together in my work as a divorce and life transition coach.
My role is not to tell you what to do.
My role is to walk beside you as your guide on the side—helping you slow down, reconnect with your values, and find the clarity to make thoughtful decisions, even when the future feels uncertain.
Divorce is one chapter of your story. Together, we'll build a strong foundation for the chapters that follow.

Divorce asks us to rethink who we are, how we parent, and what kind of future we want to create.
I believe divorce is so much more than a legal process.
It's a life transition that asks us to rethink who we are, how we parent, and what kind of future we want to create.
I believe clarity is more valuable than certainty because certainty is rarely available.
Clarity is.
I believe fear deserves compassion, not judgment.
And I believe curiosity can exist alongside fear, helping us discover possibilities we couldn't see before.
I believe children benefit most when parents learn to respond with intention instead of reacting from pain.
And I believe no one should have to navigate divorce alone.
That's why I choose to guide people through this process with clarity, compassion and intention.
You don’t have to do this alone.
I will be your thought partner, the shoulder you lean on, and your guide on the side. I will help you manage the process step by step, prioritize the issues that matter most to you, and strategize how you relate to everyone involved in your divorce situation.
With divorce coaching, you will build the skills to communicate better with your ex, and find the confidence to communicate more directly and efficiently with your divorce team. And that saves time, money and heartache.
